Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 8, 2026
This privacy policy explains how DryRoute (“DryRoute,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit getdryroute.com, call a DryRoute phone number or contact us. By using the site or calling us, you agree to the practices described here.
Who We Are
DryRoute is a water damage call network. We route calls to independent local water damage restoration providers that serve the caller’s ZIP code. These are independent local providers, who are expected to hold any licenses their area requires. DryRoute does not perform restoration work.
Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to connect your call and run the site.
- Call data. Your phone number, the date and time of your call, call duration, the number you called, your approximate location based on your phone number or ZIP code, and a recording of the call where recording applies.
- Information you share on a call. Your ZIP code, details about the water damage and anything else you choose to share on the call.
- Email messages. Your email address and anything you include when you email us.
- Analytics data. Pages viewed, time on page, referring site, device type, browser type and general location derived from your IP address.
We do not ask for payment card details, Social Security numbers or insurance policy numbers.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Route your call to a provider that serves your ZIP code.
- Measure call quality and confirm whether a call qualifies for billing between DryRoute, the call network and providers.
- Reply to messages you send by email.
- Improve the site, our guides and our coverage data.
- Detect fraud, spam and misuse.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Who Receives Your Information
We share information only as needed to provide the service.
- The provider who answers your call. They receive your phone number, the call itself and the details you share so they can help you. Once you are connected, the provider’s own privacy practices apply to what they collect.
- Our call network and technology vendors. Companies that route, track, record and bill calls, host the site and provide analytics. They process data on our behalf.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users, providers or DryRoute.
- Business transfers. If DryRoute is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
Call Recording Notice
Calls may be recorded by DryRoute’s call network or by the provider who answers. Recordings are used for quality, training, dispute resolution and billing.
You will hear a notice at the start of the call when recording applies. If you do not want your call recorded, tell the person who answers or hang up.
Cookies and Analytics
The site uses cookies and similar tools to keep it working, count visits and understand which pages help people most. Call tracking tools may show a phone number tied to your visit so we can tell which page led to a call.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep call data, recordings and email messages only as long as needed for the purposes above, including billing reviews, quality checks and legal requirements. After that, we delete or de-identify it. Analytics data is usually kept in aggregate form.
Your Choices and Deletion Requests
You have choices about your information.
- Access or deletion. Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it.
- Correction. Ask us to fix information that is wrong.
- Marketing. We do not send marketing texts or emails based on your call. If a provider contacts you, ask them directly to stop.
To make a request, email support@getdryroute.com and include the phone number you called from. We may need to confirm your identity. Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor them as required.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without permission.
Children
The site and our call service are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email support@getdryroute.com and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. Please check this page for the current version.
